Paris' Pompidou Center

The Pompidou Center, located in Paris’ 4th arrondissement, houses a vast public library, IRCAM, a center for acoustic research and the National Museum of Modern art, the largest modern art museum in Europe. Named after Georges Pompidou, the President of France from 1969-1974, it was designed in a high-tech architectural style. Although it was completed in 1977, the building retains its futuristic feel and has hosted over 150 million guests.
